CANCELLED - Pendleton's 1st Annual Halloween Parade

We've got some disappointing news: we have made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday's parade.

We know how much work and excitement goes into an event like this, and we were really looking forward to seeing everyone. Unfortunately, the latest weather forecast simply isn't safe for an outdoor event.

Here’s why we’re canceling:

Scary Wind Gusts: The forecast calls for wind gusts nearing 40 mph Saturday afternoon. That kind of wind is dangerous—it can easily damage floats and decorations, and it creates a serious hazard for everyone walking or watching.

Thunderstorm Threat: There is still a risk of isolated thunderstorms right as we were planning to stage. When there's thunder, there's lightning, and we can't risk anyone's safety.
